Gift of Life Bone Marrow Donor Drive When: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 10 – 4 PM Where: CC Assembly Hall Why: A raffle for great prizes, yummy snacks, and the knowledge you’ve given someone a chance to survive a life-threatening illness. AND – it only takes 15 minutes! What more could you ask for? At the drive, one can join Gift of Life’s registry of volunteer donors for free. Testing is fast and easy, requiring only a swab of cells from inside the cheek. No blood will be drawn at initial testing. Donors will be entered into Gift of Life’s registry of volunteer donors for the benefit of all patients worldwide who are in desperate need of life-saving matches. Eligible donors must be between the ages of 18-60 and in general good health. Blood type does not matter. Donors may just show up on the 22nd – no pre-registration is necessary. Sponsored by University at Albany Hillel, Koach, RUACH, L’Chaim, Hamagshimim, Tagar, AEPi, and Shabbos House, with support from the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership, Student Association, the Interfaith Council, Department of Student Success, Residential Life, and Center for Jewish Studies.
