2009 Class Gift
Fundraising efforts for the 2009 Class Gift are in full
swing! This year the Class Gift will support the Richard Bailey Memorial
Scholarship Fund.
Following the tragic loss of senior Richard Bailey in
the fall, members of the senior class came together to create a meaningful
project that would remember Richard and memorialize him at UAlbany for
many years to come. Working with the administration, the Richard Bailey
Memorial Scholarship Fund was established, and this fund is the focus
of the 2009 Class Gift. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for this scholarship
fund before this year’s graduation ceremony.
Thanks to donations from fellow students, alumni, faculty
and staff, and members of the greater Albany community, nearly $21,000
has already been committed to this fund. Help us raise the remaining funds
necessary to achieve our goal by donating
today.
