The Vagina Monologues 2007

The Vagina Monologues is a celebration of female sexuality in all its complexity and mystery. Performed in cities all across America and at hundreds of college campuses, it has inspired a dynamic grassroots movement - V-Day - to stop violence against women. Based on the off-Broadway play The Vagina Monologues, by Eve Ensler, the performance has been heralded as "alternately hilarious and deeply disturbing" by the New York Times and is performed by UAlbany students and alumni joined together to end violence against women.

Performances are Thursday, 2/8 @ 8pm, Saturday, 2/10 @ 8pm, and Sunday, 2/11 @ 2pm in Page Hall.

Tickets are $10 and on sale in the Campus Center Lobby. All proceeds of The Vagina Monologues will benefit anti-violence shelters in Albany. (Past UAlbany shows have raised over $12,000 for local rape crisis and domestic violence shelters.)
