I have been
a secretary for the Department of Student Life, Office of
Student Involvement & Leadership since October 1994.
Prior to then I worked in the Office of Withdrawal and Re-entry
for 4 years and The Department of Residential Life for 22
years. During my years of service I have received the President's
Award for Excellence in Support Service, Graduate Student
Service Recognition Award and been inducted into ODK.
As a secretary for the Office of Student Involvement &
Leadership I provide information to students, faculty and
staff as it relates to getting involved on campus including
information about student groups and what is happening on
campus. We also provide assistance with event planning including
information about University facilities and procedures.
Student Involvement & Leadership is responsible for
several major campus events and as a secretary I provide
support to the staff in implementing these events.
At this time I am semi-retired and work only 2 days a week.
This gives me the best of both worlds. In my time away from
campus I enjoy the arts. I spend time visiting museums and
attending performances - music, theater and dance. I also
volunteer at the Albany Institute of History & Art,
The Egg and the NYS Museum. My other interests are photography,
travel and reading.
