"Career Choices" is one of the resources provided on the Academic Innovations website. "Career Choices" is a guide for teens and yound adults that centers on the following questions:
The "Career Choices" curriculum is an "example of how core academic subjects can work together" with career development activities. It also meets the SCANS and NIOCC skills and competencies.
Sloan Career Cornerstone Center
"The Sloan Career Cornerstone Center is a non-profit resource center for those exploring career paths in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and computing."
For each area career paths are discussed. If, for example, you click on "science," you can dig deeper by selecting one of the four subgroups presented: biology, chemistry, geo science or physics. An overview of the industry is given along with information about how to prepare, "a day in the life," earnings potential, professional organizations, etc.
