The school is a unique partnership between the New York State Dept. of Health and the University at Albany. Edward H. Fitzgerald, a University at Albany School of Public Health researcher, has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) to study if exposure to organic pollutants (POPs) impacts neuropsychological function in older men and women.

collaborating with The Global Institute for Health and Human Rights (GIHHR) and
Hacettepe University in Turkey to offer a Global Health Speaker Series,
