Enhancing Intergovernmental Performance
The Intergovernmental Studies Program (IGSP) works to improve governmental performance and collaborative outcomes for state and local governments. The IGSP team studies public services delivered by local governments or through intergovernmental systems to understand how they actually operate, how much they cost, and how they can be improved. IGSP also engages in the study of state-local and intermunicipal collaboration so that cooperative outcomes can be optimized and replicated.
