Jill Kanin-Lovers is senior vice president for human resources
and a member of the Avon Executive Council, the company's senior
decision making group. Before joining Avon in 1998, she was vice
president of Global Operations, HR at IBM. Prior to IBM Jill was
senior vice president, Worldwide Compensation and Benefits with
American Express. Jill was vice president and manager at Towers
Perrin, where during her 17year tenure, she managed the Seattle
Consulting Office and earlier was responsible for all global consulting
and support activities associated with their total compensation
practice.

Jill holds a B.A. from the University
at Albany, an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an
M.B.A. from the Wharton School. Her M.B.A. emphasized Personnel
and Industrial Relations. AVON AND THE AVON PRODUCTS FOUNDATION.
Thanks to the generous support of the Avon Products Foundation,
which this year awarded IFW a $100,000 two-year challenge grant,
ten nontraditional women students of superior academic potential
and great financial need have received Avon-IFW Life Impact Scholarships.
A wonderful gift
Each woman has transferred to the University
at Albany with an associate degree from a local community college.
The goal of this innovative program is to empower motivated, but
financially challenged women, with the opportunity to complete
a four-year university degree and achieve long-term success in
