1998 Annual Fall Fundraiser Features Dr. Donna Lopiano
The 1998 annual fall fundraiser
dinner for Initiatives For Women was held Tuesday November 10, 1998,
at Wolfert's Roost Country Club. This occasion was a formal opportunity
to honor the 1998 IFW Award
recipients, and this year's guest was Donna Lopiano, Executive
Director of the Women's Sports Foundation. Dr. Lopiano participated
in a "conversation" with Karen Hitchcock, President of
the University at Albany.

women, sports, and the impact Title IX has had
on education today.
The event provided marvelous
food, stimulating dinner companions, and a wonderful time for all.
Initiatives For Women welcomed businesses and individuals who could
make an investment in our annual fundraiser.
