The Karen R. Hitchcock New Frontiers Fund is being established by the friends and colleagues of Dr. Karen R. Hitchcock, 16th president of the University at Albany. Initiatives For Women, which has launched the fund drive, will administer the endowment as a living tribute, with the goal of providing scholarships to doctoral-level women students at the University who show great promise of making a positive, transformational difference in our society. Recipients must also demonstrate financial need.
To date, the fund has raised more than $300,000. As the Karen R. Hitchcock New Frontiers Fund is an open fund, we are still accepting donations. To learn how you can contribute please click here.
