Marisa A. Sotomayor is an associate in the banking & finance practice group at the international law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
Sotomayor represents major financial institutions, private equity sponsors and commercial borrowers in a variety of domestic and multi-jurisdictional leveraged and acquisition financings, refinancings and restructurings. She has also represented aircraft operating lessors, airlines and commercial lenders in cross-border financing and leasing transactions.
In 2007, Sotomayor graduated from the Fordham University School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
She received a master’s degree in public administration in 2004, and an undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in 2003 from the University at Albany, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
