Residential Life

Dutch Quad

Dutch Quad
Dutch was the first quad to be occupied in 1964 while construction to the academic podium on the main campus was underway. The residence halls are all suite style housing, which consists of 1 to 3 bedrooms that share a 'suite'/living room and a bath off of the suite room. All rooms are designed doubles with the exception of a few designed triples. The Women's Resource Center is located on this quad in Bleecker Hall. Dutch Quad also has a Kosher dining option in the cafeteria on the quad.

Buildings on Dutch Quad include: Stuyvesant Tower; Beverwyck and Schuyler(dining hall is located in the basement of these two buildings); Van Rensselaer and Ryckman; Ten Broeck and Ten Eyck, Bleecker and Van Cortlandt. Note that Ten Broeck is currently off-line for student housing and is used exclusively for offices for the History Department.

Renovations: Ten Eyck was refreshed in 1994, Stuyvesant Tower in 1997, and Van Rensselaer and Ryckman were rehabbed in 2003.
