Attending Housing Sign Up

Current UAlbany students: Please see the information below regarding attending housing sign up in order to choose your space for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Housing sign up process is based on a lottery system, your lottery number is on your housing application. Lottery numbers are determined by the number of credits that you have. The more credits, the lower the lottery number. Please see the lottery number schedule to determine the date and time you are assigned.

Housing sign up will take place in the Empire Commons Community Building beginning Mid-February through March. Please see the schedule for complete details. Please ensure that you bring your SUNYCard for verification purposes.

Housing Sign Up Dates and Times

Traditional Residence Halls Signup

• Special Interest Housing Sign Up
  March 4th and March 5th 10am to 5pm - Living/Learning communities, Honors College, Medical Needs, Recess Housing, Theme Housing and Gender Inclusive Housing. (Based on Lottery Number)
• Open Lottery Housing Signup
  March 6th through March 13th from 10am to 6pm (Based on Lottery Number)
