University Apartments Open Lottery Sign Up

Students Eligible to Live in University Apartments: February 22nd through February 28th from 9:00 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00PM

Students who are eligible to sign up for apartments housing for 2013-14 will participate in the regular lottery process. During this time, students will be able to sign-up for Full-Year and Academic-Year Housing based on their lottery number. Lottery number distributions (dates and times of individual sign ups) will be available on the web at www.albany.edu/housing beginning February 2013. Questions regarding the legitimacy of your lottery number must be posed to the Department of Residential Life prior to your arrival at housing sign up.

2012-13 residents of Empire Commons Clusters C, F & Building E2 who choose a different 2013-14 Full-Year space in Empire Commons Clusters C, F & Building E2 MUST move out on or before May 19th, 2013 by or before 5PM.

Students studying abroad during Spring 2013 may have a friend they wish to live with sign-up for them or contact Residential Life for assistance after February 4th 2013 but before your sign up date. If your housing application or lottery number is not available, please email the Department of Residential Life at reslife@albany.edu for assistance.

• A confirmation email will be sent to each student who signs up for University Apartments (or has someone else sign-up on their behalf) after the room is selected.
• On March 5th, a second email will be sent to students who sign-up for Empire Commons. There will be a document attached to the second email that0 must be completed, signed and brought to the Empire Commons Community Building by Friday March 8th by or before NOON. Students must complete this portion of the process to secure their 2013-14 assignment. Failure to print, sign and return the attached form to the Empire Commons Community Building office by March 8th by or before NOON will lead to cancellation of your 2013-14 Empire Commons assignment. Study Abroad students please email univapts@albany.edu to inform us that you are abroad; the form can be faxed, mailed or brought at a later date.
