Information for Current Honors Students
The students in The Honors College come primarily from throughout New York State. However, a significant number also come from states outside New York and from several countries other than the U.S.
Our students bring a wide range of talents and interests with them to UAlbany. When they are not in class or studying, they can be found in the gym, an art studio, the Performing Arts Center, or a community service agency.
Students in The Honors College are involved in theater, the creative arts, intercollegiate athletics, and many campus organizations. They organize concerts on campus, tutor children in local schools, volunteer in preschools and nursing homes, and play on intramural sports teams. And, of course, they all socialize with some of the other 12,000 undergraduates at UAlbany, think about their future, and have fun.
