Want to stay up-to-date on important deadlines, events, and other information from the History Department?

Then make sure you are a member of the Undergraduate Majors' Listserv. This email list is not an open discussion list (and will not flood your mailbox with unnecessary messages) but instead a moderated list that the department uses to contact its majors quickly and directly with important announcements. Information about registration, changes to course listings, and various opportunities for majors are announced on this list.

How can you join?

If you are currently receiving email through your albany.edu email account, then you have automatically been added to this listserv and should already be receiving its messages.

If you are currently receiving email through an account that is not an albany.edu account, then you need to go ahead and activate your albany.edu account. This will automatically add your albany.edu address to the history listserv. You may then set the preferences of the albany.edu account so that all of its mail is automatically forwarded to your preferred email address.
