Current Research and Teaching Interests: Warren Roberts is a cultural historian with particular interest in relationships between literature, the arts, and history. Most of his work, as a teacher and scholar, has been in European history, but he has crossed the North Atlantic in recent years and offered courses on American art and architecture, which he sees through a European prism. He also has an interest in Albany, the city and its architecture, the subject of one of his undergraduate courses. His main field of specialization is the eighteenth-century, with particular emphasis on the French Revolution. He has published four books; each of them cross boundaries between literature, art, and the politics of the French Revolution. Full Curriculum Vitae |
