I am currently working on two projects in 20th century colonial Gabon. One examines experiences and discourses of métissage and sexuality in colonial Libreville. The second project reexamines the literature on colonial and customary law in Africa by focusing on debates about the codification of marriage laws in post-World War II Gabon.
