Anna
Hogan Trotter
Anna Hogan was born in 1720. She was the first daughter born to Albany businessman Jurrian Hogan and his wife, Maria Beekman Hogan. She grew up in her family's Pearl Street home in a developing mixed neighborhood of old and new Albany people.
By
1750, she had become the wife of newcomer John Trotter.
Over the next decade, five of her children had been
baptized in Albany churches. She was more closely
associated with St. Peter's Anglican church.
In
1764, she was named as one of seven living children
in the joint will of her parents. Anna Hogan Trotter
died sometime after!
