Pine Hills and Beyond

Lorraine Weiss will discuss some of Albany's western neighborhoods, which were open to development by the extension and electrification of the streetcar system at the end of the 19th century. The program will introduce the patterns of growth and the aspirations of developers and other homebuilders, which are reflected by over 60 years of architectural styles.
