Matters of Taste: Food and Drink in 17th Century Dutch Art and Life

The Matters of Taste exhibit features sixty extraordinary paintings by 17th-century Dutch masters from major public and private American collections.

The exhibit will run through December 8. Lectures are scheduled as follows:

  • Een Samenspraak: Talking Together About Dutch Paintings and Foodways - Oct 6
  • Vermeer and His Contemporaries: Painters of Daily Life? - Nov 17

Gallery talks are scheduled at 2:30 pm on the following Sundays: Sept 22, Oct 20, Nov 3; and at 12:15 pm on the following Wednesdays: Sept 25, Oct 30, Nov 20.

Lectures and gallery talks are free with museum admission.
