The UAlbany Student Health Center and Counseling Center relocated to a new state of the art medical building at 400 Patroon Creek (across Washington Ave opposite the Harriman State Campus) . This location is across the street from the University, approximately one mile east of our Washington Ave. entrance.

Shuttle service from the Science Library and Collins Circle to our new Patroon Creek location will complete a loop every 30 minutes. The shuttle schedule will be found on the Parking and Mass Transit website: http://www.albany.edu/pmts/bus_schedules.html
We do not recommend walking.
ADVANTAGES OF THIS NEW LOCATION:
400 Patroon Creek Blvd. is a brand new building that was constructed specifically as a medical facility. There will be enhanced on-site services such as:
- Improved heating and air conditioning to provide a more comfortable atmosphere for sick students and other student clients.
- Fully equipped procedure rooms.
- Modern office design to improve patient flow/efficiency.
- The Health and Counseling Centers will stay in close proximity and thereby continue to provide coordinated care.
- Improved access for referrals to comprehensive health care. There will be other services in the building including Radiology, Urgent Care for IV fluids, Specialists in Allergy, ENT, Neurology, Cardiology and Dermatology.
- Fully accessible for providing care to disabled patients
- All Health Center services will be on the same floor including Pharmacy, WHC, GMC & Psychiatry.
- The Counseling Center services will be on the first floor and have a separate entrance and private waiting area.
- Continuous shuttle service from Collins Circle and the Science Library Bus for the hours of operation. Sick students will no longer need to walk to access services.
- Ample parking for those who choose to drive.
The Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program, a part of the University Counseling Center, as well as the 5 Quad Ambulance Service will both remain in the current building until new homes are identified for them.
