Research and Travel Grants

The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) offers all current graduate students at the University the opportunity to apply for two types of grants: a Travel Grant and a Research Grant. Travel Grants are intended to pay for or offset travel and other costs related to conference and/or exhibition participation. Research Grants are intended to pay for or offset costs incurred while conducting sanctioned research. Questions about the Grants program should be directed to the Grants Chair Nic DePaula

The GSO will offer a Grants Summer Funding Period. Graduate students may apply for a Research or Travel Grant if research or travel occurs from anytime between June 1st and August 31st.

Deadline for applications will be June 1st. Award decisions will be given around July 1st. However, reimbursements will not be made until the beginning of the Fall semester.

For more information on the process, see the Grants Guidelines and the Application Instructions in the documents page.
