Research and Professional Development Grants.
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) offers all current University graduate students the opportunity to apply for grant money to support their academic pursuits.
There are two types of grants available:
- Professional Development Grants. are intended to offset the costs associated with attending a conference and/or exhibition, or another approved activity that will assist the student in their professional development (i.e. attending a seminar, taking an online training).
- Research Grants are intended to offset costs incurred while conducting University-sanctioned research.
Grant Guidelines and Application Information including semester deadlines can be found here.
Email the Grants Chair, Kimberly Berg for more information:firstname.lastname@example.org
For those that have applied for a Professional Development or Research grant through the GSA this Spring, you will have received an 'approval' message from MyInvolvement. This is to notify you that your application materials have been received, however, it does not mean you have been awarded money at this point in time. This message is an automatic kick-back from MyInvolvement. Once your application has been processed and evaluated by the grants committee, you will receive an award letter via email. Please pay attention for such an email from mid-February to early March.
