Vincent grew up in a rural area and spent his freshman year at a small college. He admits to being nervous upon his arrival at UAlbany. He was unsure about how he would adapt to a large school, but now loves it. He finds that there's so much to do and many ways to become involved. "You form so many connections here and through this networking, you can do anything."
Vincent is the President of the Spirit Brigade. This student-led organization becomes engaged not just with sports, but all kinds of activities on campus. They encourage other students to become excited and supportive of the UAlbany community.
Resident Assistants provided a strong network for freshman when they enter UAlbany. Vincent's best moment was when he became a part of this staff. "A brand new family was opened up to me." He is able to work closely with freshmen on Indian Quad and help them enjoy their experiences here.
When not studying and working towards his goal of eventually obtaining his Doctorate in English, Vincent can be found working out or reading. He has an easy-going personality, and if he could be any object, Vincent would be a cell phone because: "I love to keep in touch with friends and family. Plus, I would make a really hot ring tone!"
