What she does...

Looking back, Maura's favorite memories of UAlbany are from her freshman year. "It's the best time to meet people and make new friends. It's amazing that I'm still friends with some of the people I met the day I moved into college 3 years ago."

Maura is a Lead Supervisor at the UAlbany Fund. This on campus organization is responsible for contacting alumni and encouraging support and involvement from them. The donations that are given help define the excellence and growth here at UAlbany. "It's great to stay involved with the school and meet people who are part of this community."

When not in class or working, Maura can be found hanging out with her friends (and awesome roommates), listening to music, playing tennis, swimming or jogging.

From the time she enrolled here, Maura knew she wanted to be a History major. She aspires to teach history and government in secondary and post-secondary schools. Ten years from now, Maura hopes to be teaching in either San Francisco or San Diego.
