Lauren was attracted to UAlbany through the offer to be a Presidential Scholar. The benefits of this program are wonderful. She was instantly pleased with her decision; her best moment at UAlbany was meeting people freshman year, and still being friends with them to this day.

If there is one fact that everyone should know before coming to UAlbany, Lauren feels that it's about the weather; "It's really cold here, but there are tunnels! So you just have to make sure you discover them!"

UAlbany is known for its great Business School. Lauren feels that it has helped prepare her for the future. She also credits the Career Development Center, which is one of many on campus resources available to help students. "Make sure you go there and learn how to use Monster Trak and get help with your resume."

Lauren recently accepted a job as a staff one auditor for Ernst and Young's Financial Service Group. She will be working in their Times Square Office after graduation. "I'm really looking forward to working in Manhattan, but nothing will be the same as the time I've spent here at UAlbany."
