J.R. chose to attend UAlbany because of the academic programs that are offered here. He is extremely interested in law and politics and enjoys the Political Science program that he is involved in very much. He also loves the location of the college and the fact that it's located in the Capital District, since he is focusing on politics. "UAlbany is accessible to major cities, including NYC, and I like that." J.R plans to become a law professor at a University in Washington, D.C.

What are his thoughts about college? "I love all of it, and I give 110% to everything I do. I enjoy being involved with students and working with people in general. This is a very big campus, but it can become very small if you get involved in it." J.R. feels that college has superseded his expectations and that this college is the place for him. "UAlbany is the right place for me to be!"

Where do you see yourself in ten years? "In ten years I will be 31, Wow! Hopefully, I will be part of a corporate firm in D.C. and teaching on the side at a University there."
