What she does...
Ashley came to UAlbany on a scholarship and was a starting goalie for the Field Hockey team. Although it was hard to adjust to the experience due to the level of concentration and time it required, it was also very enjoyable and rewarding. "I've been able to meet new people and make some really close friends. The team becomes like a second family." She describes her best moment as a winning game (2-1) against nationally ranked Boston University.
Albany has provided a lot of new and interesting experiences. Ashley enjoys the University's multiculturalism and diversity, which is quite a contrast from Lancaster. When she's not practicing, she can be found hanging out with her amazing suitemates and studying for classes.
Ashley decided on her major after taking a few related courses in high school. She is particularly interested in the advertising aspects of the field. Ten years from now, she sees herself working as a college field hockey coach with additional degrees in Health and Physical education.
If she were an object she would be... "A computer. Everyone relies on them and they're a great way to catch up on gossip." |
