Transcripts

Please obtain official transcripts from each institution you have attended (excluding the University at Albany). If you have previously attended the University at Albany, you do not need to request a transcript from our Registar's Office to be sent to Graduate Admissions. 

If the institution's Registrar's Office mails the transcripts directly to you, do not open envelopes containing transcripts as they will become unofficial and will not be accepted. If possible, please arrange for the transcript to be sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Office at the address below.   We will accept electronic transcripts submitted directly from the institution or by a company contracted by the institution.
