Jane Champagne joined the Office of Graduate Admissions in the spring of 2001. Initially appointed as supervisor of application processing operations, her duties have expanded to incorporate responsibilities as the Admissions and Degree Services officer for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Computing and Information and as Assistant to the Dean of Graduate Studies. She also continues to act as primary manager of graduate application processing services and associate in charge of unit operations in her capacity as Associate Director of Graduate Admissions.

Prior to joining Graduate Studies, Jane served as a program support specialist in the University at Albany’s Advancement Office. She also held a post in business analysis and training support in University Applications Development. Her work in conjunction with the University’s conversion to PeopleSoft administrative systems led to her appointment in graduate admissions. Jane holds an A.A.S from Hudson Valley Community College, a B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the University at Albany. She is also currently enrolled in the PhD program in Educational Administration and Policy Studies in the University's School of Education.
