* Attribute entry and database management techniques 
* Projections and Coordinate Systems
* Geographic Analysis using ArcMap and ArcToolbox (Overlays, Buffer)
* Map Production in ArcMap
* Building and using Geodatabases

Lab Exercises: There will be a number of lab exercises assigned throughout the semester (approximately 10). The labs will involve hands-on ARC/INFO exercises on a PC running the Windows NT operating system.

Computer time for exercises will be delegated by signing up for 1-2 hour time slots.
