About the Office

The Office of Environmental Sustainability is in charge of overseeing and coordinating the sustainability programs at UAlbany. This includes stewarding green initiatives, creating environmental education programs and developing sustainability policies. The office works with various academic departments, student groups and community organizations to implement environmental initiatives, such as recycling and energy conservation awareness programs.

The office is located in University Hall room 212 and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm during the academic year, and Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the summer. We can be reached at (518) 956-8120 or email at gogreen@albany.edu.
