The Homecoming 5K Run benefits the University at Albany's Cancer Research Center. One of few academic research centers in the United States with strong ties to a school of public health, the state-of-the-art research facilities at the Center support groundbreaking work toward the discovery of the genetic and environmental causes of cancer.

Champion of Cancer Research Sponsor: $5,000 or more

• Listing in all media and marketing materials in print and online
• Listing in all organizational materials (registration forms, pledge forms etc.)
• A 2”X9” Plaque on the Cancer Research Center’s Wall of Memory and Hope
• Primary space at the Homecoming Tailgating & Alumni hosting event
• Logo placed most prominently on race t-shirt and other promotional giveaways
