The Elva N. Hudtwalker Scholarship

Until he received the Elva N. Hudtwalker Scholarship this fall, Roberto Green notes, “it was getting harder and harder to return to school because of financial hardships.” When he was notified that he was selected for the award, “I was so excited,” says Green, a senior studying
psychology and criminal justice. The Hudtwalker Scholarship “is motivating me to work harder and believe that graduate school is possible.” After graduating in 2013, Green will continue
his studies, focusing on child psychology and planning to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical child psychology.
