The Goldie Brenner Swartz '51 and Howard Swartz Scholarship

After she’s earned her degree in social welfare, junior Kathleen Brundige plans to work toward
an M.S.W., “then maybe a Ph.D.” in the same discipline. Aiding her along the way is the Goldie
Brenner Swartz ’51 and Howard Swartz Scholarship. The funding, Brundige says, “means I can continue my education. It’s a great opportunity.” Established in 2006, the Swartz Scholarship provides support for a visually impaired student.
