The Mysliborski Women's Golf Scholarship
Lisa Agoglia, recipient
Wall Street is in Lisa Agoglia’s future. So is one of
her longtime passions: golf. The 20-year-old business
administration major from Rockville Centre,
N.Y., plans to work in the field of financial analysis
in New York City – and “incorporate golf” into postgraduate
life. “I started playing when I was around
14 years old and became the first girl on the boys’
varsity golf team at my high school [South Side],”
remembers Agoglia. “Golf is a wonderful sport.
It’s been one of the best experiences of my college
career, and it’s gratifying to work with the UAlbany
team.” Agoglia recently received The Mysliborski
Women’s Golf Scholarship, established by Judith A.
Mysliborski, M.D., B.S.’69. “It’s an honor to receive
the scholarship,” Agoglia says. “I hope someday I’ll
be able to give back as Dr. Mysliborski has.”
