FOUNTAIN DAY REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All UAlbany students must obtain a wristband to enter the fountain area on Fountain Day (this means the upper and lower deck of the academic podium surrounding the main fountain). In order to obtain a wristband on April 27th you must register via MyUAlbany beginning Monday, March 17th.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

1. Sign on to MyUAlbany
2. Click on Register for Fountain Day
3. Read and accept the Fountain Day Pledge

THEN WHAT?

1. Bring your SUNYCard to the wristband distribution tent at main entrance.  Your ID will be checked and swiped to confirm your registration and you will then receive your Fountain Day wristband.  Please be aware that you will be allowed to swipe your ID only once and no replacement wristbands will be issued.  NOTE: If your card is bent, broken or otherwise damaged make sure you get it replaced BEFORE Fountain Day!  Bring your card into the SUNYCard office during office hours - and make sure you BRING the card with you - for a replacement (no cost).  If your card is missing OR if you bring us a previously-replaced card, you will have to pay the replacement fee of $20. A bad card may not register in the card reader on Fountain Day which will delay processing.

2. Once you have your wristband you can join the Fountain Day festivities on the Academic Podium.  There will be one event entrance between the Arts and Sciences building and the Fine Arts building.  You will pass through a security check point to enter this area.  No bags, beverage containers or pets will be admitted onto the Academic Podium.  Any person exhibiting signs of potentially disruptive behavior will be denied access to the event and will receive an immediate judicial summons.

Please note that all activities will be taking place on the Academic Podium this year, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
The day will include free food, music, games, giveaways, competitions and more.

The lower fountain area will open at 3:00 pm.
