Federal Plus Loan

PLUS Repayment

PLUS loan repayment begins within 60 days of UAlbany receiving the final disbursement of the loan.  PLUS loans interest rates are variable on an annual basis.

Loan Program Interest Rate
PLUS Loans for Parents 8.50%*

*Rates effective July 1, 2006.  An origination fee (currently 3%) is deducted from the loan proceeds.  The PLUS interest rate is capped at 9.0%
