NY State Aid Programs Americorps Education Award New York residents participating in an Americorps program on a full-time basis (1700 hours of community service) will receive an education award of $4,725 and may be eligible to receive a living allowance, health insurance, and child care.  Part-time members who complete 900 hours of service earn an education award of $2,623 and, in some cases, may receive a living allowance.
