In this course, you will

• acquire an understanding of the theoretical considerations that gave rise to and inform qualitative research;

• become familiar with major epistemological and ethical issues in qualitative research;

• gain an appreciation of the complexities of conducting qualitative research;

• acquire a basic understanding of methods of data collection and analysis in qualitative research;

• develop sufficient knowledge of qualitative methods to design qualitative studies.
