For March 30, 1998:

• The short papers are due in class on tonight (March 30).

• If you check the course schedule, you'll see that proposals for the end-of-semester project are due next week. What I'd like you to do is to send me an email message in which you summarize what you think your project will be. Some of you have already discussed your projects with me, but I'd still like you to send an email with a summary of what you plan to do, the form it will likely take, and any questions or concerns you might have.

• The "Technical Matters" page is still unfinished, but you can still link to the computer documentation on the web site for English 303, a writing workshop in the undergraduate Writing Sequence here at SUNY-Albany. Follow the link for "Computer Procedures for English 303" and you'll find a link to instructions for various procedures, including how to use the WS-FTP program for uploading and downloading files.

• For tonight's class, we'll be doing a group exercize. Click the link to see the instructions for the exercize.
