• The Perseus Project. An extensive online library of resources related to the study of ancient western civilization that includes useful information on classical rhetoric.

• Ancient Rhetoric Online. A very useful site devoted to exploring the five canons of ancient rhetoric.

• Aristotle's Rhetoric online at a site maintained by MIT.

• Bibliography of Resources on Aristotle's Rhetoric. A short but useful bibliography from Iowa State University.

• Perseus Encyclopedia: Aristotle. Entry on Aristotle from the encyclopedia maintained by the Perseus Project.

• Cicero: The Genres of Rhetoric. Useful resource containing selected texts of Cicero's online, translated by John F. Tinkler. Maintained by Towson State University.

• The Internet Classics Archive. A site, maintained by the MIT program in Writing and Humanistic Studies, where you can download or purchase texts of classical works.

• Classical Medievel and Renaissance Rhetoric. A page of many useful links (mostly to texts) maintained by the American Communication Association.

• Bedford Bibliography for Teachers of Writing, 4th edition. This bibliography, edited by Patricia Bizzell and Bruce Herzberg, contains many citiations relevant to the study of rhetorical theory and history.
