• read the assigned books, articles, and related materials by the appropriate date;

• attend class and participate in class discussions and activities;

• complete several short summaries/responses to selected assigned readings;

• participate in online course-related discussions;

• participate in group activities related to course assignments;

• complete two short papers and a longer project.
