Course Description:

Evaluation is considered a process beginning with the planning stage. This class provides experiences to develop evaluation competencies (e.g., writing objectives, choosing appropriate means of evaluation, constructing test items, analyzing data). Students will also engage in discussion of related issues (e.g., testing for mastery, uses of standardized tests, accountability, grading practices). Prerequisite(s): junior or senior class standing.

This class is scheduled to meet 14 times between August 27th and December 10th, 2001. Refer to the course syllabus and course outline for more information regarding the specific content of this course.
