searching, the database will return
the results in Cyrillic (if KOI8 or Win Cyrillic has been selected in the box in the lower
right of the page).
The computer database and

Yu. Bronnikov.
The transliteration system used for searching this database differs from the

system, MLA, etc.):
| а - a | к - k | х - kh |
| б - b | л - l | ц - c |
| в - v | м - m | ч - ch |
| г - g | н - n | ш - sh |
| д - d | о - o | щ - shh |
| е - je | п - p | ъ - ` |
| е" - jo | р - r | ы - y |
| ж - zh | с - s | ь - ' |
| з - z | т - t | э - e |
| и - i | у - u | ю - ju |
| й - j | ф - f | я - ja |
If it doesn't work, check and make sure you transliterated
a word correctly.

The Russian Dictionary Tree: a learner's grammatical dictionary created at Cornell
University by Slava Paperno and Richard L. Leed. "This 12,000-entry dictionary
allows you to search for a Russian or English word, and gives you all the forms and
all the endings for every word. Unlike many electronic dictionaries, it is not an
abridged version of a printed dictionary. On the contrary, definitions are far more
detailed, and many entries contain examples and extensive notes on style and usage."
