Worksheet: Presentation Graphics (Homework version)

Prerequisites for this Worksheet:
You should be able to get around a PC with Windows and MS Office (especially PowerPoint).

Assignment:
  1. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on a topic of your own choosing. This presentation should be at least five slides in length and use the skills that you learned in the In class version of the Presentation Graphics worksheet. Refer to the PowerPoint Guide as needed.

  2. Add speaker notes to the presentation that you are preparing. Refer to the PowerPoint Guide as needed.

  3. Turn in a 6-per-slide audience handout and a copy of your slides for this show with speaker notes attached.
Discussion:
For this assignment experiment with some of the many formatting features of PowerPoint to make your show look more professional. The In class version of this worksheet was done on a plain template. Experiment with using a more graphically interesting template. Try adding a presentation title in the lower left-hand corner of each presentation.

Have fun and make something very interesting.

Note: If you are already skilled in working with PowerPoint, you can just turn in a copy of a show that you have done for some other purpose.
