About the Course:
Using Python and ArcGis will provide you with an introduction to the Python
programming language and ArcGIS scripting. ArcGIS uses Python to automate
complex user interface, database, and other types of tasks. We will explore
existing Python scripts to see how they work, modify them to do new things, and
also write scripts from scratch. We will also find out how to use Python as a
more general stand-alone programing environment.
