Objective
This course will help you to develop an understanding of fundamental concepts in cartographic theory and practice. It will also introduce you to computer-assisted design (CAD) technologies.

If you don’t have one already, you must purchase a USB 2.0-compatible flash
drive (sometimes referred to as a jump drive or thumb drive) with at
least 256 mBytes of memory. If you already have one,
