You have access to additional Unix space on our departmental server. Below are instructions on how to access that space:

  1. Sign onto your own Unix account as you normally would.
  2. Change the remote location (upper right box in SSH Secure Shell File Transfer) to:

    /dept/sisp/isp361

    Note the initial slash and that is ISP (not IST).
  3. In this folder, find your folder (folders are organized by username).
  4. Link to these files by using an absolute link. The URL will be :

    http://www.albany.edu/dept/sisp/isp361/YOURUSERID
